When we live our lives striving for the American Dream, we lose ourselves on the road there. We become so focused on getting to the top we will throw away all morality and ethics just to achieve perceived success. There are many people that achieve the American Dream, but then how they got there catches up with them, and they lose it all.
Jesus calls us to a different way of life. How Jesus calls us to live is to live in service to others. Jesus calls us to make a difference in the world around us, rather than living for our own comfort and pleasure. Through this, we find the greatest fulfillment and satisfaction. We will be completely fulfilled while living a life we love. Free from a guilty conscience
In a fast-paced, ever changing world, it’s hard to know what to trust in. One minute we are told we can trust people and the next they let us down. We are told we can trust in our careers, then the next minute we are let go. We are told that something is a fact at one moment, then the next what once is fact is now offensive.
Can we ever find something that is stable? Can we ever find something that will stand firm throughout the change that can be consistent throughout our lives? If you are looking for something on earth, that answer is no. But God has remained through the millennium, before time itself and He has never changed and He still reigns the earth.
God can be our firm foundation that we can trust when life gets hard. When everything else is shaking and failing, God never fails and He won’t start now.
Do you know one of the greatest things about Christianity? That this movement is a legacy of people who overcame hard times, who died for what they believed in. Many people today are searching for truth and what they should fight for. Many times you might wake up searching for the inspiration to get out of bed in the morning. You feel like the world has sucked all hope out of you and that you can never achieve a significant life.
Life seems as if only the elite can have lives of greatness. What if I told you that you can have a life of greatness? That God has a new reality awaiting in which you do not feel inspired all the time, but you are empowered by His personal presence to make a real difference in the world.
While the cost seems high to enter this new reality, you will not regret it. Unlike other movements, the leader of this movement died so you could live. Now the Spirit of Jesus is guiding you, empowering you to achieve greatness. This greatness looks different from what we are taught by the rest of this world. Rather than being great for looks and looking important, Jesus makes you feel great and you will do great things.
